Bedtime Story Evening at Nursery

20th Jan 2020

We came to Nursery in the evening for the ‘Big Bedtime Read.’  This event aimed to promote the importance of a good bedtime routine and the importance of reading a bedtime story together.  We had to wear our pyjamas, bring a teddy and a blanket.  Mrs Ferguson told us about Brown Bear and Pink Bear’s bedtime routine.  We helped get the bears ready for bed.  We gave them a bath, a drink of hot chocolate and then we brushed their teeth.  We all snuggled up for a bedtime story.  Mrs Ferguson told us that a good bedtime routine, just like Brown Bear and Pink Bear is very important.  So we enjoyed hot chocolate, marshmallows and cookies together, brushed our teeth and then picked a book to read with our mummy, daddy or grandparent.  We enjoyed some bedtime relaxation music before going home for the best sleep ever.  (Fingers Crossed)

Thank you to all the parents and grandparents for supporting this event and a special mention to those parents who wore their pyjamas.
