🏉 Bush Rugby Team Tournament Success! ☀️
Our Bush Rugby Team had an incredible day at Portadown RFC today, taking part in a fantastic tournament hosted by Ulster Rugby. For some of our pupils, this was their very first experience of playing a full contact match — and they rose to the challenge brilliantly!
The team went unbeaten all day, with an outstanding record of 5 wins and 1 draw. Their performance was exceptional, scoring 21 tries and conceding only 4. There were some brilliant tries and outstanding defending on display throughout the tournament.
A massive thank you to Lee from Dungannon Rugby Club for giving up his time to deliver training sessions and help prepare the pupils so well. We’re also very grateful to Ulster Rugby for organising such a well-run and enjoyable event.
To top it all off, the sunshine made it a perfect day for rugby! 🌞
