We enjoyed making listening ears and then going on a walk around the school to find out what sounds we could hear. We have been playing lots of games to develop our attention and listening skills, like exploring musical instruments and listening to animal sounds. We have also been strengthening our finger muscles and developing our fine motor skills through activities such as salt tracing, using pipettes, painting, using playdough and picking up pom-poms with pegs. This will enable us to hold our pencils correctly when we begin to write.
