On Monday, our P7 pupils set off on their much-anticipated residential trip to Dublin alongside our friends from Killyman Primary School. Excitement was high as we began our adventure with a visit to Dublin Zoo, where everyone enjoyed seeing the amazing animals and exploring the park. After a fun-filled afternoon, we checked into our hotel, enjoyed dinner together and then headed out for an evening of bowling and arcade games. After lots of laughs and friendly competition, it was back to the hotel for some well-earned rest.
Day two was spent at Emerald Park and what a day it was! From thrilling rides to making unforgettable memories with friends, it was definitely a highlight of the trip. That evening, we visited the beach, where some brave pupils dipped into the freezing water!
On Wednesday morning, we checked out of the hotel and made our way into the city centre for the famous Viking Splash Tours—an experience full of fun, laughter and plenty of roaring! Our final stop was Blanchardstown Shopping Centre for a little shopping and it’s safe to say not many came home with money left in their pockets!
The trip was an incredible experience from start to finish, filled with fun, friendship, and memories that will last a lifetime. We are so proud of all our pupils, who represented the school brilliantly with their excellent behaviour throughout the trip.
