Today we were learning about different types of vegetables that come from farms. To introduce ‘instructional writing’, we read a set of instructions showing how to grow carrots. We enjoyed planting our own carrot seeds but now we have to be patient and wait for them to grow! We were also learning about other healthy foods that we can eat from the ‘Eatwell Plate’. We sorted different types of foods onto the plate and why it is important to have a balanced diet.
