P6 site visit to Creenagh Bridge
Today P6 pupils from Bush met with P7 pupils from Edendork Primary School at Creenagh Bridge in Coalisland. Civil engineers and their staff have been working very hard at making a replacement bridge at this site. Although it is not yet completed it will be soon. The old bridge was unsafe and had been the cause of accidents in the past due to lack of vehicle space. The idea of ‘building bridges’ in our area and communities was explained by one of the civil engineers.
We all thoroughly enjoyed seeing and hearing about their work so far and meeting pupils from Edendork. In the future we look forward to using this safe bridge and will feel part of the great work which has gone into producing it.
