P6 pupils visited Tayto Castle to find out how Tayto crisps are produced in Northern Ireland. This is linked to our WAU topic ‘Home Grown’. We arrived at the castle, got kitted out with protective clothing and were taken on a guided tour of the factory. This included crisp tasting which we all loved! Finally we were allowed to bring some money which we spent at the shop and each of us got a 6 pack of cheese and onion Tayto crisps to bring home. It was a super experience and we learnt a lot!
