At our P5 – P7 Final Assembly we dedicated time where we remembered a past Pupil, Jack Glasgow. Jack made special memories in Bush Nursery throughout the academic year of 2023, and sadly passed away in November 2024 after a long illness.
We were delighted to have Jack’s parents Norman and Diane attend the assembly, where they kindly donated a new award to the school in honour of their precious son.
This award is called The Jack Glasgow Resilience Award. It is very fitting that resilience is one of our key values within the school, and Jack showed remarkable resilience throughout his four and a half years.
By presenting this award each year, it is our hope to honour Jack’s memory, as well as recognise the inspiring resilience of our pupils.
The first winner of the award was Caleb Hyland, who was presented with a personal trophy by Jack’s Dad, Norman.
