P.6 pupils performed the poem, ‘Saw my teacher on Saturday’ in the final assembly of this school year. They all received a certificate for their year’s work presented by Mrs Moore (guest of honour). Four pupils won class prizes: Tilly and Hannah won an ‘achievement’ award each, Alfie and Zara won an ‘effort’ award each. Mrs McAlister made a speech about all Mrs Moore’s hard work and commitment in her forty four year teaching career. Mrs Moore was presented with a bouquet of flowers on the occasion of her retirement.
